Chris Ann Marsh

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the unexpected passing of Chris Ann Marsh on April 22, 2024, at her home in Howard, Ohio. Born on September 19, 1968, in Charleston, West Virginia, Chris' vibrant spirit and warm heart touched the lives of many during her 55 years.

Those who knew Chris will forever remember her for the love she poured into her family. As a devoted mother, she leaves behind two cherished daughters, Shannon (Michael) List and Sarah Marsh, as well as her adored grandson, Jackson Henley. Chris' role as a grandmother was one she embraced with every fiber of her being, playing and crafting with Jackson, which brought an immeasurable amount of joy to her life.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother Peggy Alford, grandfather Shirley Mullins, and her father Denny Beach. Her loving mother, Kathy Frymier, survives her and will miss her deeply. Chris' passing is also mourned by her siblings, Brian (Maria Lena) Beach, Shawn Beach, Charles Beach, Crystal, Cheryl, Craig, Courtney, and Cathy Frymier, all of whom shared a special bond with Chris that will endure in their hearts forever.

Chris’ joy for life extended well beyond her family circle, to her friends she was known affectionately as “Chrissy.” She was passionate about spending quality time with her dear friends. She thoroughly enjoyed being outside and could often be found outside playing with her dog, Lady. Her interests included working in her flower beds, where she created beauty that reflected her inner grace. An avid lover of nature, Chrissy also took pleasure in fishing.

The holiday season was a special time for Chris, as she delighted in decorating her Christmas tree, making it a focal point of warmth and celebration for her family. Her laughter was infectious, and many evenings were spent playing cards and dominos with her daughters, creating memories that will be cherished and recounted for generations to come.

Chris' enduring qualities were her loving nature, kindness, and thoughtfulness. These attributes were the foundation of her character and the legacy she leaves behind. She had a way of making everyone around her feel valued and loved, and her presence was a gift to those who had the privilege of knowing her.

Chris Ann Marsh's life was a testament to the power of love and the beauty of a life well-lived. Though her time with us was cut short, the impact she made will continue to resonate within our hearts. Chrissy's radiant smile, infectious laugh, and generous spirit will be deeply missed, but the memories of her love and kindness will be a comforting legacy for all who knew her.
