Cheryl Lynne Copeland 68, of North Carolina, passed away Friday morning January 7th 2022 in Columbus, Ohio following an almost two year battle with Vascular Dementia. She was born January 10th 1953 in Springfield, Ohio the daughter of Terrence E. Copeland and Eileen M. Eastman Copeland She is survived by a daughter and son in law Danielle and Gary Hook of Columbus; Daughter Amanda Copeland of North Carolina Son and Daughter in law Brandon and Melisa Lyon of North Carolina Daughter and son in law Emily and Kenneth Sanders of North Carolina Six Grandchildren Eric Hook, Raquel Hook both of Columbus Maleah Copeland , Terrence Copeland both of Toledo Jillian Copeland, Noah Copeland both of Florida Two Great Grandchildren Nolan Murrish of Columbus and Beau Copeland of Toledo Brother and sister in law Terry and Debbie of Virginia Sister and brother in law Alicia and Tim Dietrich of Lancaster. She was preceded in death by her parent Terrence and Eileen Copeland two brothers Kevin and Timothy Copeland and Granddaughter Mariah Copeland Cheryl graduated from Zane Trace High School in 1971 and from Hocking Technical College in Nursing in 1984. She worked her whole career in this field until her retirement in 2019. She enjoyed most, time with her Grandchildren, Reading, Shopping, the Beach and playing Bingo. She loved very much spending time with her fur babies Romeo, Puggy, Kingsslee, Duchess, Artti, Chico, and Doja Cremation and Memorial Services will be held at Leaf Cremation of Ohio, 1970 Alum Creek Dr. Columbus, Ohio 43207 Memorial Service is on January 21st, from 2pm-4pm *He Only Takes The Best* God saw you were getting tired, and a cure was not to be . So he put his arms around you And whispered "come to me" With tear filled eyes we watched you, and saw you pass away. Although we loved you dearly, we could not make you stay. A golden heart stopped beating, Hard working hands put to rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us, He only takes the Best. Author Unknown
