Cecilia May Selby

Cecilia May Selby took her walk with the Lord on January 16 this year 2022 she was 56 years young. She was born on May 16th, 1965 to the late George William and Freda May Selby of Massillon, Ohio. She graduated from Washington, H.S. Massillon. She was preceded in death by her father, George; mother, Freda; and beloved cat, Sheba, who was undoubtedly at Heaven's gates waiting to welcome her home. Cecilia was an avid card player, enjoyed puzzles, crafts, music and the magic of Christmas. She was even featured in the local paper for having the most Christmas lights in her house. Cecilia's family will greatly miss her, especially her son, Greg Popa; brothers, Kenny and Keith Selby; as well as her sister, Cindy Hauenstein; nieces, Amanda (Selby) Heslep and Kirstie (Kime) Albright; and nephew, Kenneth Selby. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses at Genesis Hospital of Zanesvilles COVID unit, those folks work tirelessly to keep Cecilia with us and we can't even begin to express our gratitude for the job they do every day. Due to COVID the family is choosing not to have a service at this time.
