Carol V Gangloff

Carol V. Gangloff (formerly Benoy/Kerr), 77 of Columbus, OH passed away on 9/27/21. She was born on 11/21/42, in Columbus, OH and was the daughter of the Clyde Benoy and Ruth Benoy (Brown). She is preceded in death by husband Kenneth A. Gangloff, Clyde Benoy, Sr, Ruth Benoy and brother Clyde Benoy, Jr. Carol was a graduate of The Ohio State University with a degree in Business Administration. She was an Ohio State thespian who danced and sung in various productions while attending Ohio State. Carol loved all things music, drama and the arts and of course Ohio State football. Carol worked at The American Cancer Society right out of college then worked for many years and eventually retired as a legal secretary from Clemans Nelson & Associates in Dublin, OH (a management consulting firm). Carol is already greatly missed. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, sister and grandmother. She is survived by daughter, Samantha Johnson (Kerr) and partner Phillip Cooper, Jr; grandsons, Sebastian Johnson, Sean Johnson and Noah Gangloff; and step-daughter, Lisa Gangloff; niece, Jennifer Kerr, husband Michael Joering; nephew, Joseph Joering; and niece, Ella Joering. Also, by extended family James Kerr, Steve Johnson, Anne Allen and Carol’s “best friend for life” Kathy Rutherford. There will not be any formal services. Per Carol’s wishes she is being cremated and her ashes will be spread in the ocean to swim with the dolphins.
