Carol Lee Bewley

Carol Lee Bewley, 80, of Barnesville, Ohio was reunited with her late husband of 52 years, Charles Gordon Bewley on June 27, 2022 after losing her battle with cancer in Columbus, Ohio. Carol was born March 12, 1942 to Floyd Willis and Freda (Anderson) Willis, and is preceded in death by her brother, Norman Willis. She is survived by her sisters, Shirley (John) Burge and Linda (Bernie) Baxley. Carol, a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, is also survived by five children, Charles Eddie (Cindy) Bewley of Florida, Tammy Rene Marmie of Barnesville, Ohio, Michelle Lee (Jeff) Neal of Barnesville, Ohio, David Gregory (Stacy) Bewley of Columbus, Ohio, and Christopher Gordon (Terra) Bewley of Cambridge, Ohio; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Luanne (James) Barbina; brother-in-law, Dennis (Lois) Bewley; and several nieces and nephews. Carol was a member of Main Street Methodist Church. Carol lived as a devoted, loving wife and mama. She was loved by all her family and friends. She loved hosting family and dinner parties. Her passion was her gardening and decorating. At her request, no formal services will be held; instead a celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined by family and friends.
