Carla Summers

Carla Summers, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away peacefully on July 21,

2023 surrounded by loved ones at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Carla was

born on July 19, 1957 in Detroit, Michigan. Carla was an admirable woman

who demonstrated strength and resilience in the face of adversity. She was a

devoted mother and grandmother, known for her generous spirit and

infectious humor. Carla is survived by her life long partner Mark A. Jackson;

daughter Myita S. Summers; son Torian Wallace; brother Darrius Summers;

sister Terrea Summers; sister Marcia Pina; and grand children Jacob, Jay,

Dajuan, Carlita, and TJ. Carla was preceded in death by her mother, Jeanette

B. Douglas; her father, Roscoe Summers.
