Carl “Whitey” Len Hayden 71 of South Webster, Ohio passed away peacefully early Sunday morning October 23, 2022. He was a US Army military veteran who served in Vietnam. He received the Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, and Army Good Conduct Medal Ribbons. Whitey enjoyed hunting, fishing, farming, baseball, The Ohio State Buckeyes, Pittsburgh Steelers, and a beer while spending time with family and friends.
He is proceeded in death by his father, Vernon “Pete” Hayden, Mother’s, Betty Robinson and Ruth Robinson, brother, Ron Marion, son, Brian Hayden, and Brother-in-law, Jerry Wilhelm.
He leaves behind his brother, Gary Robinson, sisters, Betty Wilhelm, Ruthann (Jim) Carroll, sons, Carl (Susie) Hayden, Robbie (Ali) Hayden, David (Amanda) Hayden, daughters, Debbie (Jason) Blankenship, Sadie Hayden, Amy (Jared) McGraw, Carie (Russell) Meade, and Kimberly Brooks. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
The family ask that in lieu of flowers any donations made in Whitey’s honor go towards the veteran’s foundation Vietnam Veterans of America VA.gov Home | Veterans Affairs
