Carl Christensen

Carl L. Christensen, 60, of Columbus, Ohio passed away at home on Monday, May 30, 2022. He was born on May 7, 1962 in Portage, Ohio; the son of Harold and Doris Christensen. Carl was preceded in death by his father, Harold. He was a graduate of Bowling Green University; a proud U.S. Army Veteran serving from 1980-1986 in the 101st Avn Bn and 101st Abn Division. Carl was a past member of the American Legion, Shriners and Elks clubs. Carl is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by his family, friends and coworkers. Surviving family members are his loving wife, Evelyn; step-children, Andrea, Samantha, Emily and Ryan; grandchildren, Dezmin, Hargus, Lorin, Jacob, Aria, Mia and Xavier; mother, Doris; sister, Susan; and his brothers, Eric and David; as well as many nieces and nephews, Aunts and Uncles, and his cat, Isabella. a memorial service will be held by his family in Bowling Green. At Carl’s request, a memorial for friends, family and coworkers will be held in Columbus. Date and time to be determined. Carl lived by these words “Everything is going to be ok, have faith.”
