Brenda Adkins Slad

Brenda Adkins Slad, 67 passed away peacefully at her home in Chillicothe, Ohio on February 10, 2025. She was born on June 21, 1957 in Elgin, Illinois to Ralph and Juanita (Sexton) Adkins. She grew up and spent her childhood in Wayne, West Virginia.

Brenda is lovingly remembered by her son Charles (Crystal) Rowe; her grandchildren Bryson Rowe and Brylee Rowe, whom she adored deeply; her siblings Ralph Jr (Betsy) Adkins, Jden Adkins and Sara Adkins; her nieces Deedrah Adkins and Jenny Sexton; her nephew Andrew Stevens. As well as many more cherished family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Brenda was a strong believer of the Lord. She found joy in prayer, strength in scripture and peace in the promise of eternal life in Heaven.

Honoring her wishes, a private family gathering will be held in her memory.
