Bonnie J. Rumbarger, 73, residing in Delaware, Ohio, formerly of Cortland, entered into the loving arms of her precious Savior on November 29th, 2020. She was born August 31st, 1947 in Akron, Ohio, to Charles and Pauline (Eismon) Rose and is survived by her sisters, Sharon (Brian) Waldron and Amy (Michael) Gelfand. Bonnie graduated from Warren Harding High School in 1966 and retired from General Motors: Packard Electric Division after 30 years of service. Bonnie enjoyed painting, sewing, traveling, reading and camping. Most of all, she loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild. She was passionate about her faith and most recently attended Delaware Bible Church. Over the years, she often served in the ministry as a Sunday School teacher and youth leader. One of Bonnie’s greatest desires in life was to share the love of Christ with those she met. Her kindness and gentle nature made her a powerful witness. Left behind to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 40 years, Bud. She also leaves behind a son, Carl Brown Jr. of Florida, two daughters, Cindy (Stephen) Sprague of Bristolville, Ohio and Mary Beth (Justin) Anderson of Delaware, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Elaine, Stephen Jr., Samuel, Nixon, Magnolia, Nash and Nox, and a great grandchild, Leo. A memorial service will be held the Spring. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Bonnie’s memory to Bella Women’s Center at 1192 North Road NE, Warren, Ohio 44483.
