Robert (Bob) Leroy Campbell went to be with his Lord, on February 22, 2024, he was born on July 28, 1944, in Iowa City, Iowa. He was the son of the late Norman and Ellen (Ewald) Campbell. He was also proceeded in death by two brothers Kenneth and Delbert Campbell.
Bob graduated from Columbus Junction High School in Iowa. He was a chef at the Retreat Center for Our Lady of Mattaponi, before retiring and moving to Ohio in 2011, to be closer to extended family. In Maryland he was a member of St. James Episcopal Church and MCC of Roanoke VA. In Ohio he was a member of Freedom City Church in Nashport, Club Jesus in Zanesville, and Zanesville Koinonia. His greatest passions were cooking, being with family and friends, and sitting by the pond. He was an avid collector of owls and collector of salt and pepper shakers.
Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his partner of 50 years Ken Pabor, his sister Karla (Craig) McKillip of Wilton Iowa, 1 aunt, a special niece Kathy Combs, several nieces and nephews and family member in Iowa, and his Ohio family Jeep and Sandy Graham, Kristie Carl) Roberts, Scott and Jean Graham, Crystal Graham, Clint Donaldson, Hayden Donaldson, Haley May, Trevor Kelly, Jon (Amanda), Logen and Zoe Roberts.
A Celebration of Life will be in the summer when the weather is warmer. If you wish to make a memorial contribution in Bobs name, please contact a family member.
