Billie Jo Rhoades, 67 of Chillicothe passed away on February 1, 2024 at Signature Healthcare of Chillicothe surrounded by her loving family. Billie was born on December 29, 1956 in Columbus, the daughter of the late Charles and Irene (Mace) Rhoades.
In addition to her parents Billie was preceded in death by her brothers, Charles (Sandy) Rhoades jr. and Russell Rhoades, and sisters Tina Masters, Elva (Bobbie) Hosom, Cynthia (Cindy) Copper, and Sharron Hahn.
Billie is survived by her beloved daughters, Sarah Rhoades, Lisa (Jeremy) Clay, and Grandson Brayden Clay all of Chillicothe. Surviving siblings Pastor John Lloyd (Michele) Rhoades, Karen (Kay) Rhoades, and all the numerous special nieces and nephews she loved, and all the great nieces and nephews that she thought of as her grandchildren.
Billie’s greatest passion was being a mother, a role she was blessed to become. Those who knew Billie knew there wasn’t an animal she didn’t love. Billie loved to spend time with family and friends, playing music with family and having game nights. She was a member of her childhood church of Sugar Run Community Church. She loved to dance and play hide and seek and make memories with her nieces and nephews. She loved to spend her summers with her family trying to find the best yard sales and taking road trips. She would always say she never met a stranger they were always a friend. Those who knew her will always remember her kindness to help others and to always make people laugh. She will be missed and loved by all that knew her.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday February 10th at 12:00pm at Sugar Run Community Church near Londonderry, Ohio, with her brother Paster John Lloyd Rhoades officiating.
