Bianca Marie Clemons

Bianca Marie Mitchum Clemons passed away on December 3, 2020. She was born in Cleveland, OH to the late Clarence and Joan Mitchum on January 31, 1956. She is preceded in death by brothers Bruce, Carlton, and Fredrick, sister Kathleen, and son Brandon. She leaves behind a host of family to cherish her memory: children Ilana, Ian, Alyssia, and Stephanie; grandchildren Sydney, Amaiya, Jeilen, and Shawn; siblings Ariane, Veronica, Dominic, Christopher, Bernadette, Melanie, and Daphne. There are many more extended family members and friends who we know will miss Bianca very deeply. It was Bianca's last wish to be surrounded by her children and grandchildren during her transition to be with the Lord. She was comforted in her last days by the sounds of their laughter and zydeco music, the smells and tastes of Thanksgiving dinner and desserts from a menu she selected, and the sights of Christmas decorations. In light of COVID-19 restrictions, a memorial service will not be hosted by her children. Instead, we ask you to honor Bianca with acts of service, just as she unselfishly helped family and friends time and time again. Dance and sing to a favorite song in her memory. Cook a meal and share it with loved ones or a neighbor. Donate to a food pantry or give wrapped gifts to a shelter. Learn about scleroderma and support research efforts to find a cure. Remember her in your own way. Bianca's children wish to thank the doctors and staff at The Cleveland Clinic who treated Bianca over her life, as well as the staff at Grace Hospice - Columbus who so lovingly cared for Bianca during her transition.
