Betty Joe Stone Bozeman

Betty Joe Stone Bozeman, 73, of Willard, Ohio passed away peacefully on April 22, 2021. She was born on March 28, 1948 in Walhalla, SC, to the late Maude Holbrooks Stone. Betty was an LPN, earning her associates degree from Tri-County Technical College in Pendleton, SC. She enjoyed yard work and spending time with her family. Betty is survived by daughters, Leslie Griffin (Stan) of Willard, Ohio and Lisa Wozunk (Robbie) of Vineland, New Jersey; sister, Barbara Cain, of Anderson, South Carolina; six grandchildren, Kendall Gordon (Michael) of Fort Campbell, Kentucky, Katy Lee Miller and Elijah Harrison of New Jersey, Marlee Griffin of Clarksville, Tennessee and Sydney Griffin of Willard, Ohio; and five great-grandchildren, Aiden Griffin of Willard, Ohio, Ivy, Hunter, and Michael “Junior” Gordon of Fort Campbell, Kentucky, and Christian Miller of New Jersey. In addition to her mother, Betty was predeceased by two brothers, Lawrence and Harold Stone; five sisters, Pat Lee, Lucy Matthews, Erlene Crumpton, Edna Sullivan and Rachel English; and a beloved grandson, Jason Griffin. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Southern Care Hospice of Milan, Ohio.
