Betsy Edmonds Forrer

Betsy Edmonds Forrer, age 73, from Newark, Ohio went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 26, after fighting a long battle with cancer. Her husband, children and friends were at her bedside surrounding her with love.

Survivors include her loving, devoted husband of 35 years, Greg Scot Forrer. Suvivors also include her children Matthew Koman, Angela Koman Ray, and Andrew Forrer. Grandchildren include Caitlin, Brandon, Brandee, Madison, Natalie, and Cooper. Betsy recently united with her natural family the Cautela’s. She was also survived by many special friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Harold Lamar Edmonds of Springfield, Ohio and Marian Laird Edmonds of Newark, Ohio and her son, Sean Christopher Koman of Springfield, Ohio.

Betsy was born in Westerville, Ohio on Aug. 27, 1949. She attended Springfield South High School and Clark State College. She worked in medical administration for many years. Cooking was her major passion and she loved having friends and family over and planned many events.

She touched the hearts of the many people she met. Heaven certainly gained a very special, and irreplaceable person. Future plans for a Celebration of Life will happen at a later date.
