Barbara Louise Fields, 63, Cape Coral, Florida, passed away on 11/18/2023 from a three year plus courageous battle with cancer.


She was born in Homestead, Florida; Daughter of Dwaine Earl Gould and Mary Louise Gould.


Preceded in death by parents Dwaine Earl (Mary Louise) Gould, grandparents Ivan (Catherine) Getz and Robert (Helen) Gould; Kathleen (Kahrl) Gould; George Devin Bushrod Kahrl.


She was a college graduate who retired from Franklin County Clerk of Courts as the Director of Information Technology. She was an avid greyhound advocate who was one of the main driving forces beyond closing greyhound racing tracks in the state of Florida. Her hobbies included 6 dogs (greyhounds), going to the beach, fostering greyhounds and hospice care for greyhounds as well.


Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother and Sister.


She is survived by son Joshua Fields wife (Ashley Alda Devol); Bradley Joseph Bolin (Averee Bolin), great grandson Joseph “Joey” Bolin; Kennth Gould (Sandy Gould); Robert Gould; Dwaine Gould; James Gould (Christine Gould); and extended family as well.


Funeral Service/ Reception being held at St. Catharine Catholic Church 500 S Gould Rd, Columbus, OH 43209 on 12/15/2023 at 10 am.
