Anthony Ray Belt

Tony was born in Newark, Ohio March 28,1969 to Lorena Belt.

He was a 1987 graduate of Newark High School.

Was preceded in death by grandparents Frank and Mary Belt, Aunts Christina and Diane, cousins Elizabeth an Chistopher. His loyal companion and best friend, his pride and joy his dog Rosco.

He is survived by his mother Lorena Beck, sisters Kimberly Burgess, Debra(Gerry) Waddell and Jennifer Burgess. Nieces Ashely and Hunter, great nieces Mykah, McKenna and Aubriella, great nephew Kaiden. Uncle Don (Sandy) Belt, Aunts Esther Ford and Aunt Tina (Ron) Redman.

Tony enjoyed RCD and model cars. He loved to go fishing especially with his long time friend Steve Athey. He had quite a collection of rods and reels.However he always released the fish. His favorite fishing spot is in Infirmary Mound Park 4351 Lancaster Rd. Granville Oh., where he requested for his celebration of life to be held. We will honor that request on May 28th 2023 at 2:00pm

Tony's first job was at Milo's as a production worker. Later he worked in maintenance at Animatic. Then he became an over the road trucker driving for H.W. switching to Hogan. Most recently he was employed by The Main Place doing office work an other duties.

He will be greatly missed by his mother Lorena Beck, sisters Kimberly Burgess, Debra, Gerry Waddell and Jennifer Burgess. Nieces Ashely and Hunter. Great nieces Mykah, Makenna, Aubriella and great nephew Kaiden. They were his pride and joy.

He will be greatly missed by so many family, friends and coworkers.

Tony was a gentle giant with a heart of pure gold!
