Anita Louise (Hill) Thompson

Anita Louise (Hill) Thompson, was born on August 24, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois. Anita grew up in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and was the daughter of Linwood John Allen, Sr. and Bessie Lenora Allen of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. She quietly passed away on December 15, 2024, at 21:15 in Columbus, Ohio. 

Anita met her late husband Robert (Bob) Thompson in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed December 16, 2019. In 1972 they moved to Columbus, Ohio and were faithfully married for 47 years. Anita worked and retired from DLZ Corporation. She was a dedicated baptized Jehovah’s Witness for 51 years and served as a regular pioneer for many of those years. She was baptized in Crownsville, Maryland February 15, 1973, and has faithfully served as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. 

Preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers Linwood Allen, William (Billy) Allen, Thomas Allen and Linwood Carter. She is survived by her daughter Robyn Lenora Alexander, granddaughter Lanai LeShaun Lenora Stevenson, brothers Darryl Allen of Blythewood, South Carolina, Todd Hill of Dallas, Texas. Sister Patricia Allen-Williams of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, sister and friend to many and will be greatly missed.
