Amber Reyna Nichols-Betts, 44, of Hamden, Ohio, passed away on October 9, 2024. Born on December 16, 1979, Amber was known for her enthusiasm for her Camaros, her artistic spirit and love for her dogs, Paxton, PJ, Jazz, and Ruth.
Amber graduated from Vinton County High School and later earned Bachelor's Degrees in Psychology and Graphic Design from Ohio University. Her creativity was expressed through her passions for sewing, drawing, and graphic design. Recently, she also discovered a thrill in drag racing, embracing the excitement and community the sport offered.
Amber was the cherished daughter of Earl Nichols and the late Norma (Graves) Nichols. She is survived by her loving sister, Autumn (Michael) Workman, and adored nieces, Michaela Skeens, Grace and Ellie Workman. She is also survived by many dear aunts, uncles and cousins.
A gathering to honor Amber's life will be held at the Hamden Community Building on Sunday, October 20th at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a local animal shelter, honoring Amber's love for animals.
