Margaret "Peggy" Conrad

Margaret (Peggy) Faith Conrad, 68, of Mt. Vernon, OH went to heaven on Jan. 21st, 2020. She was born on Sep. 24th, 1951 in Mansfield, OH and was the daughter of the late Frederick Carl Conrad and Pauline Yanoshek Conrad. She was preceded in death by her brothers Richard (Dick) Conrad, Gerald (Buckshot) Conrad, and Robert (Bob) Conrad. She graduated from Mansfield Senior High School in 1969. She enjoyed spending time with her family and animals. She also enjoyed spending time in the woods hunting for Morel mushrooms. She was employed at Knox County Head Start for 25 year where she took pleasure in watching others children grow. She was a loving person who cared for her family and friends, two legged and four. She was survived by her husband Michael Lane, brother Frederick (Skook) Conrad, sisters Sally Maxwell and Linda Eckert, many nieces and nephews, son Cheyenne “Starla” Lane, daughter Aerie “Jesse” McCollister, son Talon “Ashley” Lane, grandson Kanyon McCollister, and granddaughters Danielle Lane, Trinity Lane, Emma Lane, and Shyla Lane, also her special K9 companion Heidi. Services will be held at a later date.
