John William Taylor, Jr., 48, of Columbus, Ohio, died on January 12, 2021 after a long battle with Huntington’s Disease. John was born on January 7, 1973 and was the biological son of Celeste Anne Moon and John William Taylor, Sr.; Mary Benson became John’s step-mother in 1979. John was preceded in death by his dad, John Willam Taylor, Sr., biological mother, Celeste Anne Moon, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. John is survived by his two adult children, Alexus Tayor and John William Taylor, III (JT); step-mom Mary Benson, sister Teah Grigsby (Sean), half-step sister Melissa White (Dale), and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Prior to Huntington’s Disease taking it’s nasty toll, John loved causing mischief, spending time with family, listening to music, watching the Buckeyes, going camping, enjoying Mt. Dew, and spending money on the newest ‘must have’ item. A Celebration of Life will be held in the late spring of 2021. Please contact a family member for additional details at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America in John’s name would be greatly appreciated.
