David Michael Jackson

David M Jackson 59 of Columbus, Ohio passed away on August 18, 2021. He was born May 12, 1962 in Columbus, Ohio. David was the son of the Carol Campbell Spurgeon(deceased) and Jerome Jackson. He was preceded in death by his mother Carol Spurgeon and grandson Anthony Scartz. He is survived by his children (son) Eric Jackson and (daughter) Kristin Jackson and (father) Jerry Jackson (brother) Ken Jackson (sister) Terrie Mudlinger and (sister) Virginia Ermis. He had many brothers, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his fiancé Debbie Scartz (Denney) and her children and grandchildren. Lynne Davis (Bryan) Tony Scartz, Michael Scartz (Bridget), Julie Scartz. Grandchildren: Alesha Davis (Dustin) Travis (Andrea) Douglas Scartz, (Whitley Smetana) Dillion Otworth, Stephanie Williams, Emilee Kegg, Dianna Davis, Allen Davis and Stevie Travis. Great Grandchildren: Linda Davis, Damion Davis, Ryan Davis, Hailey Davis, Davina Scartz. Papaw Dave took the grandchildren on many adventures and bike rides. He enjoyed music, bike trips, camping, cooking, Nascar, and he was the first to help in any situation. He loved to decorate and hang lights for the holiday. He was very helpful to the elderly and disabled and enjoyed their company. He was a good friend to many and enjoyed having a good time with his friends and family.
