Amanda Vacca

January 1, 1983 — December 12, 2023

Amanda (Hamilton) Vacca of Baltimore, OH gained her angel wings December 12, 2023. She lost her hard fought battle against breast cancer after being re-diagnosed in October.

She was born in Newark on January 1, 1983 to Anna Hollenback and the late Brian Hamilton.

Amanda was a hairstylist who loved all things vintage and had a passion for dance since she was a little girl. She used to joke that she was born in the wrong era. She'd squeal in excitement at the things she loved, usually cats or llamas. But above all else, she lived her life for her son, Edward Vacca.

Amanda's smile and laughter lit up the room. She was always up for adventures and watching old movies. She had a very giving heart. To know her was to love her. She was a treasure to us all and will be greatly missed while she dances once again with her dad.

Amanda is preceded in death by her Father, Brian Hamilton and Grandfather Lawrence Hamilton.

She is survived by her son, Edward Vacca, fur-babies, Shelby and Olivia; Mother, Anna Hollenback (Sp. Keith Hollenback); Sister, Amber Hamilton; Fiance, Sean Covell; Grandparents: Peggy Hamilton and Charles and Mary Swayne; Aunts and Uncles: Linda and Alan Edmondson, John Swayne; Cousins, Jared and Brittney Swayne and their children, Bailey Edmondson, AJ and Cindy Edmondson and Jameson Swayne.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating towards mamasllamas83 via Cash App where all funds go to Ed to assist with Amanda's estate.

Per her wishes, there will not be any formal viewing or services. However, a celebration of life will be held in January with details to come later.
